Williams Dining is committed to keeping our food service environment safe. Over the past ten years we have developed an approach to food safety that began with the training of our staff using the nationally recognized program titled, ServSafe. To date, approximately eighty percent of the Dining Services staff is certified.
We also adopted a system known as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) food safety program developed nearly 30 years ago for astronauts. The program lists guidelines recommended by HACCAP ensuring the safe handling of food.
