biohazard symbolIn recent years, concern has grown over the spread of several pathogens through occupational contact. In response to this, OSHA developed regulations on bloodborne pathogens such as Hepatitis B and HIV. Williams College has policies designed to minimize risks to employees and to treat any occupational exposures. These are described in the Bloodborne Pathogens Program, which is reviewed annually by the Chemical and Biological Safety Committee.
